Placenta
Placenta Injection
Self-pay treatment | Skin beauty, menopausal symptoms, chronic fatigue, improved liver function
Placenta (placental extract) is rich in nutrients essential to sustaining life, including growth factors, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. These components are expected to work synergistically to activate cells, repair tissue, and balance hormones.

Our clinic uses a medical-grade human placental extract injection manufactured by a domestic maker. Depending on your goals and symptoms, we use either a type primarily aimed at improving liver function and recovering from fatigue, or a type specialized for menopausal symptoms. Please ask us for details at your visit.

Placenta Injection
Liver function, fatigue recovery, skin beauty, menopause

A medical injection preparation made from human placenta. Based on a well-established preparation originally developed as an insurance-covered drug for chronic liver disease, it is also widely used as a self-pay treatment for cosmetic purposes, fatigue recovery, and improving menopausal symptoms.

Improved liver function: With a track record as an insurance-covered preparation for chronic hepatitis and cirrhosis, it promotes repair and regeneration of liver cells.
Fatigue recovery & reduced malaise: For those with ongoing chronic fatigue or sluggishness. Growth factors and amino acids activate cells at the cellular level.
Skin beauty & anti-aging: Aims to improve skin firmness and dullness by promoting collagen production and normalizing skin turnover.
Relief of menopausal symptoms: Also considered effective for menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, sweating, and irritability.
Recommended For Fatigue that won't go away Dull skin & lack of firmness Menopausal symptoms Concerned about liver function Antioxidant & anti-aging

🌿
Facial Placenta Injection
Targeted skin beauty and lifting via local administration

A cosmetic treatment that subcutaneously injects placental extract directly into the face, targeting concerns such as sagging, wrinkles, enlarged pores, and dullness. Compared to a full-body injection, this allows for a more direct local effect on the skin.

The procedure is performed with a fine needle and takes about 5 minutes. There is almost no downtime, and makeup can be applied immediately afterward, making it an easy treatment for busy people.

Lifting & reduced sagging: Promotes collagen and elastin production, restoring skin elasticity and tightening sagging along the facial contour.
Improved wrinkles & pores: Promotes cell regeneration and turnover, making fine lines and enlarged pores less noticeable.
Effects on skin & hair: The local action of growth factors improves skin hydration, clarity, and firmness, resulting in a brighter, dull-free complexion.
Recommended For Those who want to avoid hormonal medications Concerned about sagging & wrinkles Improving pores & dullness Those who can't take downtime Want to restore skin firmness & hydration

📄 Scientific Evidence
Nutrients (peer-reviewed international journal) | Systematic review (11 RCTs analyzed) | December 2025, Semmelweis University (Hungary)

The first systematic review to evaluate the efficacy of placental extract for menopausal symptoms. Searched 272 records across the MEDLINE, Scopus, and Embase databases, and analyzed 11 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) that met the inclusion criteria.

📊 Key Findings
Menopause severity scores (Kupperman Index, Menopause Rating Scale), vasomotor symptoms such as hot flashes and sweating, skin condition, and some psychological measures showed significant improvement in the placental extract group. No serious adverse events or clinically significant abnormal lab results were reported across all trials, confirming good safety.

Biological & Pharmaceutical Bulletin (peer-reviewed international journal) | Multi-center double-blind RCT | 2016

A multi-center, double-blind RCT comparing the efficacy of subcutaneous human placental extract injection against placebo in patients with chronic fatigue syndrome or chronic fatigue of unknown cause.

📊 Key Findings
Fatigue recovery rates were 71.0% in the low-dose placenta group and 71.7% in the high-dose group, compared to 44.2% in the placebo group. Both groups showed statistically significant differences from placebo (p=0.0002, p=0.0001). The incidence of side effects was similar to that of the placebo group, confirming safety.

On your first visit, we will ask about your symptoms and goals and recommend the most suitable preparation, dosage, and frequency. We typically start with 1-2 visits per week and adjust based on your condition. Because the injection itself takes only a few minutes, it's an easy treatment to fit in before or after work.

Please note that receiving a placenta preparation means you will no longer be eligible to donate blood (per Japanese Red Cross Society regulations as of May 2026). If you donate blood regularly, please discuss this with us.

Even if you're not sure which type is right for you, please feel free to consult us.
